Speaking

When not on a television show or motion picture production, Louis enjoys talking about his craft as a public speaker. He has spoken and taught at
various institutions, discussing the role and performance of his job skills as both a Director and an Assistant Director.

From independent storytelling to writing a complete script, from breaking down a script to budgeting a production, Louis can talk about the nuts and
bolts of making a successful production. He also has his share of “war stories” coming up in the industry, from a production assistant to a 1st Assistant Director. Louis is also well versed in set safety on a production, and has spoken on this topic a number of times.

Louis’ speaking engagements to date include functions given by Northwestern University (Niteskool Project), Institute for International Research (IIR), New York University, Hofstra University, MTV Networks, Chapman University (Los Angeles), Long Island BOCES, the New York Institute of Technology, and The Connecticut Film Industry Training Program, where he taught an intensive film workshop from storytelling to completion in four weeks.

Engagements can range from one hour to all day or even several days. To speak with Louis about speaking at your event.
